Renée’s knowledge and interests led her through a designer’s path from the ground up; she learned early in her career that there was a difference between what the manufacturer wanted to give the customer and what the customer wanted to wear. These observations helped strengthen Renée’s design perspective and focus. Wherever Renée went, she drew rave reviews on her own jewelry and clothing, most of which she had designed herself. Eventually, Renée set off on a new path and began creating her own collections.
